Insomnia.



Insomnia is a symptom of a sleeping disorder characterized by persistent difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep despite the opportunity. It is typically followed by functional impairment while awake. Insomniacs have been known to complain about being unable to close their eyes or "rest their mind" for more than a few minutes at a time. Both organic and non-organic insomnia constitute a sleep disorder.

According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in year 2007, approximately 64 million Americans suffer from insomnia each year. Insomnia occurs 1.4 times more commonly in women than in men.



It's 5.30am. Yes, I'm having insomnia. I tried to sleep since 12.30am. I kept my eyes closed n tried not to think of anything. However, lots of random stuffs just popped out in my mind. I tried to sleep for 5 hours. After the 5 hours of trying, I opened my eyes, and I'm still not sleepy. I took my phone to see the time. It's around 4.50am. Then I msged him. Finally, after msging, I decided to get up. There's only one hour left. Impossible for me to still get up on time for school if I fell asleep by then. So, I'm here to blog.

I don't know why I'll have insomnia. I didn't take afternoon naps yesterday. It's not too early for me to go to bed. I didn't drink coffee. Maybe 'cause I think too much? But I was trying not to think. =/ Anyhow, just hope that it's just last night. I want to sleep. But not later in school. =/
Aight, off I go to shower.
